Vampire Knight is a shōjo manga created by Matsuri Hino set mainly in the Cross Academy, a prestigious private school with at least one unusual class structure. The students are in fact divided between the Day Class, composed of regular students who conduct their lessons during the day, and the Night Class, an elite group of genes that are actually beautiful vampires.
